We close our hearts for good reasons. At some point, it was protective—sometimes life-saving. But what once protected us can become a barrier to the love, connection, and aliveness we most long for.
This retreat is a journey into the heart. Together, we’ll explore how to soften protective walls, stay open in the presence of fear, and let love move through you in a way that isn’t dependent on conditions being perfect. We’ll weave together trauma-sensitive teaching, contemplative practice, and science-based understanding of how the heart—and nervous system—learn to open again.
What you’ll explore:
✅ Heart-based practices to cultivate love and warmth from the inside out
✅ Heart-opening movement and meditation sequences to soften old defenses
✅ A 5-part framework to understand your heart’s unique patterns of opening/closing
✅ How developmental trauma conditions the heart to shut down, and how to heal
✅ Daily strategies to notice when your heart closes and simple ways to return to openness
✅ A 30-day meditation plan (music, mantras, reflections) to support ongoing heart opening
✅ Guided visualizations to expand your capacity to receive love
✅ How to stay open in the presence of difficult people and triggers (when you’re ready)
✅ Practices for grief, letting go, and relational repair

This program is a transformative journey into the heart. Learning to work skillfully with the opening and closing of the heart is, in many ways, learning how to be truly alive.
